I may have been born and lived 98% of my life in the PRM but I am about as libertarian as they come. I’m the 1 who’s hated by my neighbors because I’m such a “fascist” (i.e., liberal-speak for conservative).
You just admitted some of your government places are no-weapons zones.
That has always been the case, and it makes sense. There’s no reason certain small institutions can’t have everyone check their weapons at the door.
It ain’t the same as a state-wide ban, or even a county-wide ban. So lighten up.
Unless they gate the entrances and exits and place metal detectors everywhere, there is no real way to ban them. All schools ban them. But the person who decides to go down in the history books as a mass-murderer at a school brings in the guns anyway. The thing about rules is that they are only kept by law-abiding people. Murderers don’t care if guns are banned.
