I agree and it's also a picayune thing to obsess about.
Oh, I very much agree, but no matter who the person is, the attention inevitably turns and focuses on him.
I know that hospital well. I’ll write you privately.
Pet peeve of mine too.
Hey, it could be. They are being very careful not to jump to conclusions, even “obvious” ones. Someone could have done the first shooting and then given the weapons over to another student to do the second set of shootings.
Sure, it’s implausible, but not impossible, and so there’s no reason to assert as fact that it was one person.
We are apparently so used to our law enforcement jumping to conclusions that we have taken their caution as a sign of incompetence. Yesterday people kept saying they were talking “two gunmen” when it seemed clear they were simply saying they couldn’t be certain it was NOT multiple gunmen.
I expect that today some people will take the facts as they are now known, and QUESTION those facts because “it’s not what they told us yesterday”, when in fact what we “know” from yesterday was speculation from people who weren’t waiting for the facts.
I just heard on WFLA 970 radio that the shooter is Cho & he is Korean.
and yet took the time to remove the serial numbers- BIZARRE!
There are no serious investigative journalists left. They are all amateur tabloid reporters.
No doubt about that.
Why does FOX have him on their payroll? Don’t they know that he’s a disgusting puke that invokes channel changing?
I’m so disgusted that I’d like to slap him at the moment. Ever heard of waiting for all the facts Whoraldo? Ever heard of blaming the shooter instead of hoping to lay the blame at an instituion or the gubmint?
Email campaign to FOX to throw the bum out?
He will probably meet with the families privately as well......without any press.
The pressers went hog wild last night on "this is the worst massacre of this type to EVER happen in the U.S.".
The President of the "worst massacre in the US" must be there this afternoon.
I'm hoping he can stop, or put a dent into the "jumping to conclusions" hysteria.
Maybe even re-teach the nation what respect means and does for others who are grieving, those who are trying to investigate this.
He's already proven time and time again, his gift a true gift he has of empathy and caring for and about others, the facts, truth, and defending Americans from harm.
I don’t think she has been on at all this morning and she interviewed the University President last night. Some other guy did the balance of the Evening News.
Exactly. It was determined here that Cho is a Korean name. The MSM was still reporting “Chinese” last night. Gads!

Remembering my college student days, you could’ve had a fun archeological dig at the bottom of my backpack by the end of a term. Stuff accumulates. Maybe he was a slob like me, and just stuffed the receipt in there and never took it out. Hell, I almost didn’t graduate because I had parking tickets that I’d stuffed in a side pocket on my bag for two months and forgotten to pay.
23 and a senior is a bit unusual, but not that much. He could’ve gotten started late. I don’t know if South Korea has some sort of compulsory military service or not, but if he had to pull a couple of years in their army after secondary school, that might put him starting college at about 20, and a senior at 23. Or he could be on the “five-year plan,” or switched majors, all sorts of things.

I had gotten an email from a friend of a friend. The “friend was a policeman in Enterprise. He was walking with the President and the secret service. He told how the President comforted some of the students and kept them close. One was the President of the student gov’t. When they got to the church where the families were that lost one of their children, the s.s man told the officer this is where we stay. The President went into the church without his s.s. The officer asked the s.s man “What about his protection?” The s.s. officer said “He has protection, it’s just from a higher source.” That still brings chills to me. What faith. It made this Alabamian proud. I hope that you and your family are doing well.
Good points....
Strange, I have the receipts for every gun I've ever purchased in my billfold. I'm not sure why. Possibly, because they were gifts for my husband and I wouldn't want him to see what I paid for them. However, the receipts do list the description of the guns and serial numbers - something I'd like to have handy if any were stolen and subsequently used in a crime.
