(off topic) We crushed the Burger King that is up near Monteith during the 1984 Olympics. Russia boycotted the Olympics and Burger King gave away burgers, fries, and a soda whenever the USA won a gold/silver/bronze.

Montgomery Hospital is pretty limited. I guess most county hospitals can only take on so many trauma cases at one time.

Standard procedure after XX victims, part of the emergency plan.
Some stop receiving patients after very few (4-5) emergencies, as hard to believe as that may seem.
Idea is to re-route them where they can really be taken care of without overwhelming the staff.

Makes me wonder what would happen in a more serious tragedy numberswise if they route people after only 4-5 victims.

It makes sense though to give them the best attention possible. I’d sure want that for my family.

MRH is designed to take old people. It’s a really nice facility but not a great ER. They are diverting to Radford which is newer.

It does sound like many, many people shot. They’re still sending rescue from Pulaski.

I'm sure they are being taken to a trauma center.

There are very specific procedures followed by hospitals in case of massive casualites..........especially since 9/11.

The victims will get better care by being taken to an appropriately equipped medical center.
