Netanyahu tells Sarkozy that Iran should be top priority

Likud Chairman Benjamin Netanyahu spoke Tuesday with French president elect Nicolas Sarkozy and congratulated on his victory. Netanyahu said that Sarkozy’s victory was a triumph of democracy and the French people.

Russia claims not selling weapons used in Darfur

Russia has denied allegations made by Amnesty International that Moscow was violating the international embargo and was supplying the Sudanese army with weapons, knowing they were being used to attack civilians in the Darfur region.
“We honor the Security Council’s resolutions prohibiting arms sales for use in Darfur,” The Russian foreign ministry’s statement said. (AFP)
