The wearing or not wearing of a seatbelt/shoulder harness is a Darwinian indicator of intelligence (see Lady Di(e)).

The governor needs to be charged and fined.

It’s Imus’s fault. If he’d not been a racist, Corzine would net be headed to this meeting. Of course, it could be Bush’s fault too.

"...Red Pick-Up Driver."

Fred Thompson, red pick-up driver, hasn't even declared and the news media is already trying to smear him with their mile-wide scarlet-dripping guilt-by-association brush!

Sounds like a reasonable explanation. Has a ring of truth to it. Since the guy was not charged, his story probably matched eyewitness reports.

Corzine has nobody to blame but himself for the extent of his injuries. Just clicking that buckle may have prevented all or most of them.

Has there ever been a report of how fast Corzine’s vehicle was going. My bet is he was late and speeding with the flashing lights...

I haven’t heard or read much about the white pick-up truck and its driver.
You know - - the guy who actually crashed into Corzine.

Was the white pick-up truck part of the motorcade, and speeding along with it?
How could the driver of this white pick-up truck so recklessly try to blow by another truck which had just swerved off the road on the immediate right? the driver of the white truck didn’t slow down and use extra caution at the sight of this obvious problem? And now the police are declining to charge the driver of the red pick-up truck? What’s more, it sure sounds to me like this New Jersey State Police Capt. Al Della Fave is going out of his way to defend the driver of the red pick-up truck....

Something stinks to high heaven.

Corzine is now a poster child for seatbelt usage. I'd like to see photos of his accident and videos of his long recovery used in driver training classes.

It's funny about being "driven". I have always been amazed by my business colleagues who would never think of driving or riding without a seatbelt, except that, when they get in a taxicab, they somehow think it's unnecessary. As if taxi drivers are immune from collisions. Hah!

His accident got me to remind my 19-year-old daughter to wear her seatbelt. She laughed. She can't remember a time -- as passenger or as driver -- where she has ever been in a moving car without a seatbelt.

What's with red pickup trucks?

Janet Reno got into a wreck with hers too. Two, if you count the one in Marathon, FL, where she got charged with careless driving.

Somewhere out there is a cartoon with a crash dummy and Corzine going through a windshield. I can’t find it.

Looks like there will be a medical first; the democratic party announced that what is left of Corzine’s brain will be transfered to the Al Gore robot body during an emergency operation. Let’s just hope the residents in NJ can stand the shock!

As long as the driver of the red pickup continues to confess his fault, he will not be charged.

A liberal is never at fault.

I thought the State Police took an oath of office to uphold the law! Oh wait, I forgot the law doesn't apply to Corslime or any other Democrap.

And Senator Codey (acting Governor) saya that business will continue as usual - CORRUPTION UNCHECKED!

Codey was the President of the NJ Senate when McGreedy's lover was appointed to the high level security post that he was not qualified for.

Codey was the President of the NJ Senate when Corslime's nominee for NJ Attorney General was appointed despite the outstanding bench warrant for her arrest! She was forced to resign due to her political interference with a police matter.

And then there was the Torch, Toricelli, and on and on and on......

New Jersey’s governor is more exciting than my governor. All she does is raise taxes, give away hundreds of millions to crooked politicians and blame Bush for the bad state economy, all while not breaking a single bone.

Can we borrow Corzine’s driver?

Seems to me that the Govenor’s motorcade caused the accident.

The driver could not be located Saturday night at the casino where he works.

What is his name?? Normally when they decline to use the name it means something!

Why was the governor traveling at a high rate of speed with lights and escort? Imus? Pathetic. Not official business, imo.

A witness last night indicated speed was not a factor in the crash. The man, who State Police confirmed was a witness to the accident, told The Star-Ledger he was driving alongside the governor’s SUV moments before the crash. The man, who asked not to be named because State Police told him not to speak to the media, said both his vehicle and the SUV were going 65 mph, the posted speed limit on that part of the Parkway. The governor’s two-car motorcade was traveling with flashing lights on at the time of the crash.
