I’m sorry .. but I just don’t buy it.

I heard a caller to Rush’s program the other day and she said that NOBODY CAN STEAL MY JOY - NOBODY! I don’t care what they say. I own my joy and I don’t allow anybody to steal it from me by their careless words.

Oh .. and she was a black woman.

It was priceless!

I heard that call, she was priceless. Her logic made perfect sense: She teaches her kids not to give people like Imus the power to steal her joy and he can say whatever he wants to - she couldn't care less.

P.S. Good riddance to that phoney cowboy with the in-your-face hat. The show was quite good when he was absent. He had such a high opinion of himself and I was tired of hearing about his private jet rides and gifts from car dealers. Sure he did good things for those kids, but from the way he spoke of, and to them, I often thought he used them for cover.
