why do these late night “comedy” programs think that political figures are good guests? I can not think of anything I would want to see less on a comedy show than some rot gut politician. I don’t care if they are Republican, Communist or whatever...we have to look at these jerks all day on the news and then they put them on a so called comedy show! it’s puke, it’s agenda driven and it sucks...and that’s why I don’t watch this kind of crap anymore.

I can understand why the shows want the pols as guests, especially if they mess up, giving the pooch a rough time so to speak ... the real question is “why do pols think going on a comedy show adds to their image?”
