Prayers for you, Glinda, Katie and her mom. I have heard stories like this and once a child is in the system, things get very complicated very fast. You did exactly the right thing by getting a good—and hopefully aggressive—attorney. She will be worth every penny you spend.

My family and I really appreciate all the support, advice, and information everyone is providing. I probably should have posted this months ago but we've been so close to getting Katie home so many times, I held off. We keep thinking it's over and the caseworker keeps throwing up new obstacles that we need to address.
