It was just announced on the "Mike and the Mad Dog Show" on WFAN (Imus's home base): Imus is out of a job on radio as well.
He will not even be on the air tomorrow.
Must be trying to out-Obama Obama. They are fighting for the black vote. She is trying to be the first Black Female President (whatever that meant before with Bill, and whatever that would mean now with Hill).
If I was one of the Rutger basketball players, I would ask her how was she able to lose every ounce of pride to stay married to a philandering rapist, telling someone to “kiss it”. Oh, but then again, Hill has been playing this role since Arkansas. It wasn’t that Hill was upset that Bill was doing it, it was because his felonious behavior would maybe occasionally come to light and embarrass her.

The all black XM channel has several hosts who are vowing to go after Opie and Anthony for making fun of Barack Obama’s corpse colored lips and for spanking Francine while pretending she was a slave.

Rush was saying that today. That he is on their ‘’list’’ to target next. They feel emboldened and powerful now that they got Imus fired!
Nothing will come of this. Every liberal politician and journalist in the country has a standing invitation to bloviate on Imus' show. Imus has total joke immunity...

Liberal hate tangled up in its own special brand of love.
Liberals are wimps. If they come after you, check your legal status and sue them until they have nothing. Liberals are completely corrupt. Given time, their will always be some way to bring them down through the courts. Liberals in my life scare me not... they are so unprofessional, all I need to do is keep a written record of all the garbage they pull on a daily basis. Bunch of scum.

The bottom line is that Imus will, for the forseeable future, lose many listeners no matter what happens.
Even if satellite radio someday develops an audience roughly as large as old-fashioned radio’s, don’t think for a minute that the Rats can’t censor it too. They are masters of tyranny, and they’re just getting started, my FRiend.
I too believe in hope, when there’s reason for it. And there is always a little reason for it. But I don’t see a great deal of hope in this situation. It looks pretty bad to me.
Correction: Liberals are wimps when it comes to facing America’s enemies. They are actually quite effective when fighting and tyrannizing over their fellow Americans. In American politics, with some exceptions on both sides, it’s the liberals who are soldiers and the conservatives who are wimps.
They don’t scare me either. There are no liberals in my life. They do have power nationally though. You seem to have fallen in to the attempted manipulation of my words by another FReeper. His/her take on what I said is ... absurd.

Media mogul Sumner Redstone says he’s looking to his chief lieutenant, CBS Corp. chief executive Leslie Moonves, to “do the right thing” when it comes to deciding whether to fire Don Imus, the CBS Radio star shock jock now being whipsawed in a storm of racial controversy.
There are big differences though that will make it less likely. Satilite is private unlike regular radio, which is the public airwaves. Plus you have to pay, as is seen with Howard Stern and Sirus.
