It was just announced on the "Mike and the Mad Dog Show" on WFAN (Imus's home base): Imus is out of a job on radio as well.
He will not even be on the air tomorrow.
These last two days have been unreal; and guess what — my entire family is on the way over here for my birthday dinner...........I wish we had done it tomorrow night...........LOL.

Imus was wrong, and he's a schmuck. He has a long pattern of being a schmuck. There are times when the enemy of our enemy is our friend, and we have to choose one devil to defeat another, like joining forces with Stalin to stop Hitler -- but this is not one of those times. Denying Sharpton a rhetorical victory isn't worth defending Imus.

The black people of this country are doomed to victimhood and feeling inferior, as long as they let clowns like these two line their pockets by baiting the races. What’s it going to take before people start listening to men and women like Bill Cosby, Condi Rice, Alan Keyes, Colin Powell, instead of the race baitors who only look to divide the races for profit.

He was touting the stock of one of those subscription radio networks some time ago, and bought a bunch himself. If he gets picked up by one of them, he’ll be able to say anything he wants, which might be pretty entertaining.
