Nifong should at least commit political hari-kari, by resigning, turning in his law license and offering everything he owns to his victims. I'm not so sure he did apologize. This parses pretty strangely.

What about the 'extent' to which he tried to frame these boys? What about the extent where he abused the innocent in public, trying to force them to plead guilty to a crime of which they were entirely innocent? How about the extent to which he gave credibility to the accusations of a clearly incredible witness, a person of low character and mental instability?

I think much more on this guy is going to come out. This non-apology is a pretty strong indicator that we haven't seen the worst of it yet.

There is one mother of the accused, who is STILL not finished with him....

I sure wish someone could remember WHICH mother it was that PROMISED on television - Nifong would regret his actions for the rest of his life...

It was CLEAR, she MEANT it..and she has the cash and lawyers to follow through on her promise.
