I don’t believe he paid a dime of his Tawana fines. If memory serves me his “church” paid them.
He also transferred all of his assets to his wife at one point to try and avoid paying the court awarded damages.
I know that a payment was made after they went after him for it, but not sure if it was him or others that settled the penalty.
