A lot of harm is done by media who irresponsibly broadcast lies and hate from beyond an impenetrable shield of immunity. Whatever hurt Imus caused initially has been magnified by rebroadcasting his comments. Also, the Duke men cited the role of media in their case. Try suing them. It is impossible.

We must have a broad discussion...Jesse Jackson and Bill Clinton have offered to participate in any future discussion of 'broads.'

Now that Imus is gone, KO evidently thinks his the big gun on MSNBC. He’ll step over the line.

Also, this is the forum where management and other freepers called Bush a cokehead. As you can see, their political judgment is far from sound. Its pretty whacked at times and thankfully doesnt represent the voting public. If it's so bad, why are you still here?

The truth is that the left cannot win as far as talk radio goes. Even if they were to get rid of the AM/FM radio talkers, the satilite world as well as the internet will welcome them with open arms because these are very safe areas.

There seems to be a genuine timing on all this feigned outrage. Yesterday I speculated it was the lefts pound of flesh after the Duke LAX outcome. I’m wondering if it’s something much much bigger.
You raise very valid questions, to which I have nothing other than speculation. Is our attention being purposely diverted from something else?

Good for you. I wish we’d all get our acts together better on this. I suppose we’re all too busy with families & jobs to do it as well as the leftists.
