You took the words right out of my mouth. It’s mob mentality spurred on by a handful of artful rabble-rousers who are playing on the emotions of a populace cowering in fear of wearing the scarlett letter of political incorrectness.

Was he wrong? Of course he was wrong? Does it require that he lose his livelihood? Shouldn’t the audience decide that by either listening or not listening? I have little or no respect for the guy, but what they’re doing to him is like watching a public stoning (but that’s probably coming next).

Actually, Imus is one of their own politically, but it shows how eager they are to please PC and race hustling forces that they would fire him. Imus reaches a lot of so called independents and the Democrats and Left wing media are on his show all the time. If today was his last day Paul Begala was one of the very last guests. The left shot themselves in the foot today.

Before the last election Dems were on there all the time and they were the recipients of Imus Time. I really think he did them a lot of good in humanizing them and helped them win the Congress.
