Unfortunately, you’re right, it IS a clear negative in a Fred run, but I still plan to support him anywise. I hate to think that a remitted lymphoma which Fred himself doesn’t seem to be that worried about would disqualify him. I mean, look at how common cancers are these days. ANY one of the people running, in both parties, could find out tomorrow that they have terminal Hodgkins. It’s a trial of life that any one of us here on Free Republic could have to deal with. We could find out tomorrow. We could find out today, when we start bleeding from the nose or succumb to dizziness from the brain tumour that’s been growing in our heads unnoticed for the last three months. Life goes on. Fred, and we, can either be defeated by it, or we can defeat it. I would choose the latter.
