I don't know but I don't see why this is any worse than Rudy's bout with prostate cancer.
Per my research: Hodgkins lymphoma was one of the first cancers to be rendered curable by combination chemotherapy.
So, I don't see this as an automatic death sentence.

This is NOT a death sentence. A friend of mine was diagnosed about 10 years ago in his late 20’s. Not only was he completely treated, he now has 3 kids.
On the cancer scale, this is a good one to have.

So, I don't see this as an automatic death sentence.Agreed. In addition to Giuliani's prostate cancer, there is McCain's melanoma. It's valid to mention Cheney's heart disease for that matter.
Unless we want to resign ourselves to consistently voting for 50 year old candidates, we're likely to see health issues in any number of ways, being a factor.
Frankly, this illustrates perfectly how important the Veep slot is in any election.

It isn’t. My husband had this in 1972. He had 3 months of treatment and he was in remission the rest of his life. He died last year of liver cancer.
