A few months ago as I parked my CRV, I heard a guy standing nearby tell someone “I’d love to have one of those CRV’s, but you never see guys driving them.”

If your car defines your masculinity, it ain't the car that's the problem.

But then again I think I was the last person on the planet to get a cell phone. LOL!

Wrong... The infowarrior *still* doesn't have, or even wants, a cell phone...

the infowarrior

Please tell me this is masculine!

Yeah, all the widowers in Sarasota are driving that one!

Thanks for the input everyone. I never expected over 200 post on this. OK...I won't buy a Miata (probably wasn't going to anyway it was just kinda down the list).

One more thing....classless gator fans suck.

Buy an old, dirty pickup, dark color.

Or build it yourself like I did:

If they were painted one color they might not look so stupid.

Most of the ones I've seen were -- or at least the colors were similar enough that the two-tone effect didn't particularly register.

In another car thread, I learned that there are more than a few fans of the late Pontiac Aztek -- even they agree it's fugly, but I'm told it's utilitarian, a good driver and easy to get stuff into and out of.

How about a nice, manly Ferrari Testarosa?

My girlfriend has a 4.0 in silver...a 2001 with only 53000 miles on it.

Still reminds me of my dad's Buick Roadmaster when I drive it.

The old one was driven mostly by men. My own limited observations agree if that is the case.

And LOTS of Porsche parts fit on them too! They could be very fun (and sometimes way too exciting) to drive!
