About a year ago I asked one of my offspring why there weren’t young people entering politics. The immediate response was: “The press is so rabid! No one in my generation could pass the digging; everyone has tried drugs at least once, had sex in high school or college, or done other stupid stuff. They would be torn apart!”
And this from my ‘conservative’ child who votes Republican! Sobering.
Next to Hillary, of course, Nancy is the Smartest Woman In The World, so we'd better pay close attention and encourage Nancy and her friends to speed things up and put the final nail in the coffin of America!
How blessed we are to have such fine politicians who believe that whatever America had amounted to was due to the dilligent efforts on by the liberal pansies who have served as traitors and have legislated our nation to utter ruin.
They haven't a clue that what led to America's ascension as the #1 power was the labor and intelligence of the poor American taxpayer who thought big ideas and paid big bucks into a now bankrupt federal treasury.

It is exactly because CO2 is about .036% of the atmosphere that the socialists pick it as pollutant. The small amount is easier to affect. Likewise with their second most deadly pollutant, methane at 0.00017%. Same with ozone, the original deadliest pollutant and least abundant.

I'm with you. I live in Northwestern PA, and we haven't had a day above freezing since last Wednesday. It's snowed with accumulation every day and night. Global warming is about taxes and nothing more. Except there is a likelyhood that the tax will be a world tax (a violation of US Sovergnity) imposed upon Americans and administered by the United Nothings. The tax, allegedly assisting the poor because of the extra alleged hardship imposed upon them, will do absolutely nothing to solve any climate problems.
The biggest scam here is that mankind cannot control the weather. He may be able to locally change climate trends. But overall the world climate is related to natural forces like the sun, volcanos, and other forces of nature.
Our local weaher forcast is rarely accurate beyond 5 days and even then there is a margin of error on temperature predictions by 2 to 5 degrees. How can anyone predict the climate in 10 to 20 years when the margin of error in the 5 day forcast is significant?
Climate change is about control of industrial economys and their use of resources that deny poor countries the opportunity to develop. Allegedly, even if they had the will to do better, most of the undeveloped world will never catch up because of corruption and conflict.
I like your phrase “Green Socialsim”. Scaring people into compliance because nobody wants a polluted, unlivable world is more dangerous than the Bolshevic Revolution was to communism.
Absolutely, this is both a religious and a scientific issue, but more so Political science.

After reading all sorts of statements from a wide range of scientists during the past few months, I am totally surprised at how knowledge and expertise must have been accumulated during this time period. I refer to predictions that most, or all warming during the past 50-100 years is due to greenhouse gases with 90% certainty. I had always been told that the models being used had considerable uncertainty so that I wonder how this degree of certainty has now been achieved.
I am, myself, not a climate expert, but rather a scientist who has spent most of his career working on problems of atmospheric radiation science and remote sensing, I have been reluctant to speak out on the climate change subject. However, I think I have to at this time. The recent IPCC summary report has just informed me, and the rest of the world, that there is little doubt but that the global warming we are experienced is due to greenhouse gas emissions into our atmosphere. That conclusion was really surprising to me, it having come from a worldwide group of supposedly outstanding climate experts.

The pollution of our atmosphere with man made gases is not good. For that reason it should be stopped. However, it is also not proper to make predictions to the general public that is subject to so much uncertainty. The arguments against further pollution can stand on their own.
