Given the concrete positions of the Arabs and the Jews, this conflict WILL come. And, like it or not, it had better come BEFORE the Arab states become nuclear powers or one day we'll witness scenes like this all over THIS country. Take your pick: There or here.

She probably told them that she will stand in the way of any military action against Syria by the USA.

Nancy Pelosi must have brought this warning to the Syrians. Of course, her description of “peace” and “war” are synonymous.

I think Israel better prepare for a three-front war. Hezbolla is rearmed in Lebanon...by Iran. Iran is also supplying Hamas in Gaza and the Westbank. Finally, Syria will use any excuse to join in the attacks against Israel.
My guess is the first attack will come from Hezbolla. Things will grow from there, unless Israel pulls a pre-emptive 6 day-war like strike. In that case, Israel may hit Syria first to neutralize its airforce.

Either Israel will finally destroy Assad or Syria is trying to force a conflict between Europe and Israel, A fight which given its’ Anti-Semetic fervor, Would all be more than happy to pursue.

Did Nancy Pelosi deliver a distracting message so as to keep Damascus off guard?
With some slick media maneuvering she just might come out as a hero, sorry...heroine.

"World Nut Daily." Translation = Though a larger, better known internet conservative web site than is FR, they are "nuts" because they aren't Bushbots, and have the audacity to call him to the carpet when he deserves it.

Translation: WingNutDaily is an embarassment to conservatism through their featuring of a vast roster of nutcases and incompetents including Jerome Corsi, Joseph Farah, etc.
It's specialty is telling the not-very-bright what they want to hear.
