and the real point here is, advanced systems like ABS and wedge brakes can make those $40 tires perform like $200 ones. The best way to maximize traction is to have something other than a panicked human in charge.

but if you don’t have any traction, none of it matters. ABS brakes compensate for poor traction. That's why they were invented.
