and the real point here is, advanced systems like ABS and wedge brakes can make those $40 tires perform like $200 ones. The best way to maximize traction is to have something other than a panicked human in charge.

This results in a very high braking force to be produced with very little effort.

Do you really want the breaks to lock up in snow and ice?

but if you don’t have any traction, none of it matters.

ABS brakes compensate for poor traction. That's why they were invented.
