Actually there are stores that carry books concerned with cults. Perhaps you’ve visited one. They are called Christian Book Stores.
In fact I regularly meet with other recovering Mormons who are trying to combat the cultic mentality we were raised in, or fooled into joining.
It takes much of my time, and I find it enjoyable and rewarding. Some people devote their entire lives to this end. They are called Christian missionaries. Perhaps you’ve heard of something similar?

This can be said of any religion where people are allowed to leave.

So are Baptists that spend their time with Recovering Methodists Christian missionaries? How about Catholics that spend their time with recovering Lutherans?
