LOL, but look at the US. We are a divided country down to 50% that would fight for anything. Do you think the children of American leftists would fight? And if they would, would our professional military want a draft that included those wussies?
I don’t want to judge the Brit sailors and marines too harshly, they never should have been in a position to not defend themselves. However, I do think the confessions were a little to comprehensive and speedily given and with just a little to much glee.
I say this in a constructive way, because the Brit military probably needs to realize they have somewhat of a problem in that regard.

However, without wishing to condone the Iranian’s behaviour, this does seem to indicate that steps ought to be taken to encourage the Iranian’s to become more tightly integrated into the broader world community and reduce their level of anger against the rest of the world, and the west in particular.
