Surely, you're smart enough to understand that by supporting a candidate, you're giving your stamp of approval to his stated policies.
Rudy’s stance on abortion is not “one issue”. It’s two issues:
1) abortion
2) government-funded healthcare
But when you combine the two, you have a lethal combination for a republican candidate going into a primary.
Rudy has two choices at this point:
1)drop out of the ‘08 Presidential race and look for a cabinet appointment in the next administration
2) run as an independent and hand the presidency to Hillary.
My greatest fear is that he will feel snubbed by the Republican party, and run as an independent.
It's about the respect for life overall.
It's also a broken window to other crimes. Child porn, babies being left in dumpsters, teen pregnancies, etc. are all from abortion.
If you think it's shameful, you wouldn't vote for man that wants to use your tax dollars to fund it.
