Well said -- accurate and succinct.
You may have it right. The more I’ve listened to him and I catch him every night for at least 20 minutes the more I see some sort of act.
The act comes out when religion topics come up and he does the “God thing” then he’s talking about his drinking habits the next night.
Savage reminds me of that crazy preacher who’s dead and gone with his videotapes still playing today and his audio being heard on the shortwave radio. (Rev. Gene Scott)
IIRC, MineralMan was the FReeper who explained that “Michael Savage” is the radio equivalent of the Rock or the Undertaker . . . it’s a wrestling persona, except he talks instead of wrestling.
Bingo! He is all knee jerk with little examination of the issues. I think he is doing his talk show on the cheap with very little scholarship in the deeper facts. He gives a bad name to conservatives who have a deeper understanding of the issues than Savage. Savage will not give enough detail to support his argument so that the misinformed can be convinced about the truth.
