Did she come back with some breakthrough treaty or agreement that I missed? What specific negotiations do you speak of, and what outcome is she boasting?

You can’t be serious can you? What do you think she went over there for kicks?
To: HitmanLV
Israel's problems in the region are identical to ours in this respect: when opposing an enemy nation's conventional armed forces (army, navy, air force) neither us nor the Israelis have much difficulty, but when attempting to fight terrorists hiding in the shadows who use civilians as human shields/props and target civilians almost exclusively we both run into big problems. ....as all civilized nations do.
It would be a serious mistake to assume that because America and Israel have a tough time fighting terrorists who "fight" in this manner that either nation is somehow not up to its previous miltiary butt-kicking capabilities. ......as I suspect the deluded will be finding out soon enough.

You were the one who said she violated a law forbidding her from negotiating. What did she negotiate?

I agree, but Israel clearly lost a lot of face and came across as inept and losing.
I hope they have the clarity to see what the problems were and address them.

To be fair, Savage lost a few major market timeslots to Miller, though he is well along in fixing those losses.

Nice try at holding Wiener disipline, it really is hypocritical of you when you throw terms like "this-bot" and "that-bot", and then try and keep people from responding to Wiener critics, or when you attempt to speak for others. Now now Lormand let's stay focused and keep to the issue at hand, I see no mention of any 'bot-talk' in this discussion save for what YOU are bringing up.
I have no idea what these other points you are trying to make, I have no power to make ANYONE do or not do what they wish nor do I attempt to try.
I have no problem with your so-called 'Weiner' critics other than that spewing distortion and misinformation or merely misunderstanding what Savage has said on his show does not do the conservative cause any good in my opinion and THAT should be the biggest threat to Conservatism and not Michael Savage.

I believe we heard the same words from Savage but I found them to have meaning other than did you.

I could live with Romney, that is with the little I know of him so far. Fact is, I believe he will be the nominee. The Veep is the question. I am wary of Fred Thompson, because of his Hollywood association.
The running mate will be key.

Picking up the live slot in LA on the Home of the Angels no less, is huge. 8 days of Miller ‘chipping away’ though? I think it takes 4-6 weeks for the trends to be released. The PM’s that installed Miller are praying that he’ll be a safe alternative to Savage.

I agree and said so on the Savage Nation thread yesterday. I speculated that Savage’s negativity yesterday had a bit to do with some behind the scenes crap - I don;t think the KRLA situation went down well at all, though he is now on a station just as powerful in the market, and live.
He is clearly angry at losing the slots to Miller, but in the end it will all work out.

* Said it was OK for Pelosi to go talk to Syria
Be honest with yourself. If yuou listened to what he said, he explained that if something good comes out of the trip then it would be worth while. He also mentioned that Republicans have traveled over there (and GW Bush has also had some of these people to his ranch in Tx). So your saying that when a Democrat goes over there that it's not ok... but when a Republicans does it that it's fine?
Admit it... for the MOST part, Democrats and Republicans are one in the same (with a few exceptions. Both parties love to spend our money and they love to create endless bureaucracy. The only difference between the two are that they fight over what to spend all of our money on.

If you will recall, last August, the IDF was making their biggest push into southern Lebanon and at the same time, France and the U.S. were frantically pushing the cease-fire resolution at the U.N..... which came just at the time there were the most Israeli troops in So. Lebanon.
Granted, the Israeli political leadership was wussy but it seemed their generals were making some headway, and other players on the “international scene” did not want to see a resounding defeat of Hezbullah. I’m not sure all blame rests with Israel.
The point is that Savage’s rantings at the time were of the “throw the baby out with the bathwater” type, which is very typical of him and is more an indicator of his wild moodiness than of any political acumen.

The IDF putzed around for about a month with nothing much to show for it. Weak.

Yeah, just keep telling yourself that. Repeat it enough times and you might beleive it. LOL!
What, are you IP-logging to prove that I've clicked on six Savage threads in the past several years instead of four? I thought only the Robinsons could do that. Are you an admin mod? Or on the inside somehow?

Savage is a humorist and a wild man.....fiercely independent..and ALWAYS worth listening to. The Lenny Bruce of radio.
I don't know much, but I am fairly sure Lenny Bruce never blathered on about bicycling in San Francisco or watching the gulls circle or his little nellie dog or what wines he tried last week.
