FWIW, I saw the couple interviwed on the boob tube, and they're miserable and want to leave.

I'm sure they do. I feel very sorry for them and their situation.

The problem is they want an exception to the rules, but once an exception is given, other folks will want an exception too.

Kinda negates the whole idea of having rules in the first place.
