the only messiah i am seeing touted on FR is rudy. or have you missed that?
OK! You have a legitimate fear, but I just can't bring myself to vote for Rudy, and i just don't believe that he is the only one that can defeat a dem.
I haven't seen anyone saying that. I do see people looking for and supporting candidates they don't have to sacrifice a multitude of core conservative values over, though, like the Rutards have to.
I won't have a tantrum, I'm not that stupid. Even if your buddy Julie Rudiani gets the nod, I'll stick a clamp on my nose, close my eyes, and vote for him against Hitlery or the Magic Negro.
So what you're saying is that Fred's got private problems.
If Fred gets in, Rudy or Romney nukes his ass with the sex stuff, and it's still down to a Rudy/Romney race. JMC doesn't count anymore.
So why is Fred doing this if John is dead in the water? Fred's not stupid. He knows that JMC is a Zombie candidate and he can't revive him.
Unless Fred thinks he can run and win. I'm skeptical.
Be Seeing You,
Chris
May I suggest that you let FReepers worry about themselves, afterall, we are all adults.
"They will have a tantrum, and let Hillary become President, just to stick it to the Republican party."
If that happens, it most likely will be because the GOP continues to aimlessly drift to the left to occupy positions abandoned by the Dems as they drift even further left. There comes a time when we must drop an anchor to stop this drift. We are long past that time, and if the GOP is unable or unwilling to provide that anchor the fault lies with the GOP not the conservative voters. Putting the blame on the voters rather than the party only guarantees that the problem will continue without being addressed. The first step in fixing a problem is to acknowledge that it exists.
They will have a tantrum, and let Hillary become President, just to stick it to the Republican party.
And how would her administration differ from a Rudy or McCain administration?
A woman watching the polls to figure out what her decisions should be vs. a man watching the polls to figure out what his decisions should be.
Unless the polls say americans want more conservatism, smaller govt. and thier constitutional rights protected from govt. infringement.
