Apparently its not true!
I just read an article in Arabic in which Sistani’s spokesman denied such comments saying only statements from Sistani’s office are authentic. He also added that decisions regarding the new law on the Baath are up to members of parliament. I don’t have the link handy, but am sure the article would appear in English soon.
