Don't dismiss him. He's correct in a strictly military strategy assessment of the current war. We can have the largest arsenal on Earth and it provides no defense against a suicide bomber. Our only military option is to round up everyone who is affiliated in some way with the movement - that is to say, any Moslem anywhere - and kill them... which is antogonistic to our current values, although given extreme circumstances, we could do it in the same way that we carpet bombed Germany and Japan. It's a nightmare that reminds me of the "one-third" of the Earth's people killed in the Revelation. Kill or be killed. And if we allow ourselves to be killed, humanity sinks into another dark age.
That's one hell of a way to start your Sunday morning.
This may have been encouragement to his evil weaponry in Iraq.
It'll be interesting to see if the NYT deigns to mention his explicit promotion of suicide bombers. There's an obvious application to Israel, not to mention the whole world.
