Maybe the "British Lion" isn't asleep, after all. I wonder what it will take to really piss him off?

We are in a knife fight with an opponent who is willing, and not afraid to die. We, on the other hand, don't want to be scratched.

This is one of the best descriptions of the situation I've seen!

That's right, they're not going to hurt anyone after all they're "The Religion of Peace". Now go stick your head back in the sand. Wuss.

BTW, Maybe if you refrain from the tough guy(girl?) cuss words your posts won't be pulled.

Looks like Kopite has had to leave us for a while.

A great loss, I'm sure we all agree...

So I see we have another Muslim apologist from Britain, probably Pakistani by origin. We were warned to be on the lookout for you guys and I think I have spotted 2 in the last week.

For the record, we bash the shit out of our own leaders when they show no backbone. Ever been on a thread "bashing" the treasonous backstabbing wormy actions of our Congress?

Suggest just ignoring this imbecile. Complain to moderator rather than egging potty-mouth on.

Nice job, AM! Kopite has been duly banned or suspended.

The press gets mad and clamors for war over 15 hostages who will likely be fed and taken care of, yet that same brit press, left and right, vilifies the US for taking down the murdering terrorist Saddam.

Well, I know it's slightly different from the SAS raid on the Iranian embassy in London or the Israeli assault on Entebbe, but if our intelligence was good enough (sadly there's no way it is) a covert operation would have been possible.

Sadly we are missing some of the great spies of our Imperial past (I'm thinking of the likes of Sekunder Burnes in Afghanistan and the extraordinary feats of many British spies during the Great Game)

"The UK will never take real action so the US will never have a chance to back them up."

To be fair, we haven't done anything about Iran's more serious and numerous acts of war against us, either. Our business and government leaders are too worried about the cheap oil that supports today's revenues. ...not to mention most of the rest of our population. We, as a nation, don't have the will to fight.

That said, the UK shouldn't be blaming us for what the Islamo-fascists bring to them. And their leadership should not be instigating accusations against us for the purpose of distracting them from their own problems. We have historically expected that political tactic in nations like China and Russia.

The guy reminds me of a former co-worker who moved back to the UK. I knew he was liberal when he was here, but now he's got this blog that's anti-Bush and anti-American. Fortunately for us he moved back, he was in the process of getting dual-citizenship. We really have to end that dual-citizen crap.

Your name seems fitting.

Well, thank you.

As for the Madrid bombing...It was planned long before the Iraq war, so Madrid was probably inn for a terrorist attack regardless. Off course it played right into the Euro-appeasers (or Eurotwits if you will) hands at the time. Spain afterall seem to be the focus of some special attention from the islamics to to the history of al-andalus.

Cheers and a good weekend to you.

"We don’t have the means to engage in gunboat diplomacy with Iran"

The Brits defeated themselves.

They do have peachy keen "free" health care though.

I do believe the Daily Telegraph did support Operation Iraqi Freedom.

However, they seems to have been going somewhat wobblier since.

Cheers.

You may be right. But some of the "conservative" media there has been as awful as the leftist press since.

We got your back, Britain!

No we don't! Bush is just as pussified as Blair! You honestestly think he posesses any guts to take on Iran? Please! He's allowed the Democraps and his lame duck status to politically cripple him as commander in chief. This is what you get when electing someone that is more concerned about getting along than doing whats right!
