Tomahawk is an all-weather submarine or ship-launched land-attack cruise missile...
He lost all credibility right there

BINGO!! A Tomahawk is a land attack missle. As a 22 year Navy veteran, there is NO WAY the crew of a ship would keep quiet about shooting down an airliner...

Yea the Tomahawk reference blows this all to he!!. There are many reasons why that would never happen, but for one thing, a Tomahawk is the size of a telephone pole and almost impossible to miss by many witnesses (not to forget the entire crew of a ship).

That is the first thing I noticed. It is like the tv newsreader that calls every rifle an "assault rifle".

Ditto. His 747 likely flies faster than a Tomahawk which is designed to hit land based targets, not aircraft.

Thank you Robe. Who shoots a T-hawk at a "target drone"?

That was my first thought... Aren't Tomahawks only used against stationary targets, and guided by an inertial guidance system? And don't they get their target coordinates just before launch? I'm pretty suer that they don't have any sort of target tracking system. That would mean that a Tomahawk would never be launched against a moving target.

More importantly, as you stated quite succinctly, it's NOT an anti-aircraft missile! It's a ground attack weapon! For goodness sakes, Tomahawks are designed to carry nuclear warheads!

While I am no expert on weapons I don follow them. I have never heard of a Tomahawk with ANY active tracking capability, did I miss something? Now if you tried to fire one in a manner ballistic you would have to be one heck of a shot.

This is a classic example of propaganda by Obtaining Disapproval through False testimonials .
