I had a liberal try that line on me. It's simple to refute but liberals being idiots they never think before speaking.
The reply to this is easy. If it is such a great economic boom, why exlude China, India and so many other countries? To "save" them from economic prosperity? If it brings such a great economic boom, why does there have to be a Kyoto protocol that forces countries to join? Wouldn't all countries be rushing to join the boom? Why does it have to be imposed?
If you took all of the world's rope, tied it together and attached a lead weight to the end, it would still be too short to plumb the depths of Al Franken's stupidity.
Al Franken is not stupid. His followers are.

Ping me if you find one I've missed.
Just like what you're doing, education and activism.
Teach people about the Milankovitch Cycles, it's a climate model that actually accounts for the past climate changes like ice ages.
real climate scientists see the Milankovitch orbital changes and changes in solar output as the drivers for the observed climate changes, including this one. BTW if the theory is correct we will have 24,000 years of warmer climate until we start to slide into the next ice age. This will happen without Algor or Al Franken either.
puff puff pass, al.
As a socialist he can conclude nothing else.
If it is good for the economy, then no legislation is required. The market will ultimately move in that direction. Oh, wait, Liberals are only interested in governmental control of private markets.....
With that statement, Al makes the environazis' agenda clear for everyone to see. Yet, most Americans are to ignorant about economics and markets to even see it.
I though no First World Country really abided by Koyoto, it was just pledged to or something.
Enforced, it'd wreck any country's economy.
