Damn! 'sand-lappers', the head waters for the Catawba River are all in NC. The Catawba River's water belongs to NC UNTIL the flow reaches SC then SC can all they want. Get over it:-() Careful there, Tarheel. Just because you are upstream from S.C., you are downstream from Tennesee and Virginia. What if Virginia or Tenn. started pumping out millions of gallons a day, would N.C. stand still for that?

Tennessee is downstream. Virginia is already pumping millions from Gaston Lake due to its head waters beginning in Va. Some attempt to stop Va from pumping but NC arguments did not win...
