Ask Hunter if he agrees with the Brady Bill. I'll bet he does, as do most people.

What does the BRADY bill have to do with what Rudy is talking about in 2000? The Brady bill was already law.

I don't know what most people you hang around. I don't know a single person that liked the Brady Bill.

Neither Hunter, McCain, or Paul support gun registration or the brady bill.
I live in Arizona, walking distance from where the gun show is. You can buy firearms in AZ with no background check and no registration, and that's the way we like it.
The only people I know who liked the Brady bill are Dems.

Those who know what it is are few.
It's like using "Roe" as a talisman for abortion, as if opposing Roe means you want to criminalize all abortions, and if you believe that abortion should be legal in at least some places under at least some circumstances, you "support Roe."
You don't need "Brady" to keep from selling guns to criminals. There is no reason why the government needs to database by serial number every gun I buy, in order to keep guns from being sold to felons. Alcohol is restricted, and proof of legality is required, yet the government doesn't keep records on who buys it.
A database of gun owners and their guns is a prerequisite for confiscation, and a serious undermining of the intent of the 2nd Amendment.

My husband is a lifetime member of the NRA and sees nothing wrong with a waiting period while a background check is performed on the prospective gun owner. It's common sense.
