Gore running as a Green would really cause a headache for the Rats in Oregon as they campaigned in 2004 to keep Nader off the ballot here...settle down in a comfortable recliner with some beer and popcorn to watch the fireworks.

Seems that Algore wants to be the Democrat version of Pat Buchanan.

Gore carried Smith County by a 2:1 margin (4884 to 2384). Kerry carried it by a much narrower margin in 2004 (4044 to 3729).

"Run as a third party candidate and it will guarantee that the Republicans will win.

That is exactly what went through my feeble mind as I read the story.

If enough Clinton supporters switch to Gore, then Barrack Hussein Obama could be the democratic nominee. And Hussein all he can get is about 15% of the electorate (10% blacks + 5% idotic whites.)

This is not a godsend. It does not absolve the republicans from putting their best candidate forward. NO RINOs! We must still work to make sure the best conservative is nominated from our side, no matter what disaster is taking place on the other side.

It ain't easy being Green, especially when you have 4 houses and a Gulfstream!

Where do you suppose the Goracle Gorbasm got the money for four houses and a Gulfstream?

Oh, that's right. He has Oxy stock, which went up 10% when Elk Hills was made available through Al's Reinventing Government initiative, and purchased by Oxy.

Run Al Run!

I never recall Pat Buchanan sweating profusely.

Could there be even a bigger change in the wind for AlGore?

I agree. I think the more he polls the more he will see that he has assets that Clinton and Obama both lack, and little of the baggage. It would be highly entertaining, but I think Algore will realize, he doesn't need a third party.

A 3 way [eewwwww] with Hillary, Gore, and a real conservative would have Hillary dancing in circles, trying to appeal to the liberal wing while trying to convence the moderate/conservative wing that she is on their side.

Let the GOP seem to be going for a conservative and let Bloomberg go 3rd (actually 4th) party and draw the big-business-country-club votes, then a true conservative could win in 08.

If Gore does try a 3rd party, it could really mess up the Dems.
