You really shouldn't post remarks like this, it reveals your ignorance about who and what James Dobson is.
Bear in mind, I didn't call you ignorant, just on the subject of evanganicial Christians.
Without people like Dobson, there would be no GOP with any influence at all.
The GOP would be the Rockefeller wing, sitting back letting the little people think they are in control, whle making back room deals.
I am a Catholic AND a Christian. I used to have more respect for "Born Again" Christians than I have now. What is losing me is seeing Freepers here posting that by voting they were voting to "improve society." Well, voting to improve society and taking aways citizens' rights, just doesn't jive in my book. Freedom (like God gave us) to make our own choices is what matters to me. Views like this is what is causing me to become a little concerned at the moment.
You are right! There would have been no President Reagan, if certain Evangelical leaders had not gone to him and promised that if would run, they would help see to it that he won.
HOLY CATFISH! THE PIRANAS ARE STILL AT IT! LOL!!!!

Amen. I agree with everything you said. In 2004, Dr. Dobson was a hero on these boards for getting out the evangelical vote. Now that he says something a little controversial, people are treating him like a pirahha. Talk about your fair-weathered fans.
