You can post any mistake a fallible human being may have made.

The bottom line for me, unlike you, is that I lived in NYC before and through most of the Giuliani Administration. I experienced him, peeks and valleys, good and bad, warts and all, and in sum I trust him to be the chief executive of the United States like no one else who has even fantasied running for the office in 2008.

If the perfect human being shows up to run, with a resume of proven accomplishments, I may reevaluate my support.

In other words, unless the Messiah shows up and gets into the race, for me it's Giuliani.

I love it. Now serious lapses in judgement by Rudy, lapses that call into question his fitness as a commander-in-chief for the WOT, are fallable mistakes?

Sounds like Clintonspeak to me.

You Rudy boosters want it both ways - where Rudy has done well, it is grounds to judge him as a leader. Where he screwed up big-time, it's just a mistake.

More Clintonspeak. My gawd, does Rudy bear NO RESPONSIBILITY for the Kerik fiasco? Or should we just move on?

The new bottom line is, I really didn't care who ran NYC - I had the choice not to live there. But now Rudy wants to run the country, so I'm damn sure not going to overlook his serious lapses in judgement and his bullheaded inability to listen to advisors regarding the ECC - because he now looks to impact MY LIFE.
