Its easy for Rudy to say this. He doesn't have to vote on it.

If we can just forget he is a liberal, and espouse his gay agenda, abortion loving , gun grabbin history.

I am now supposed to be impressed Steve Forbes is backing him.*snort*

FRudybots outbreak today.

Rudy is being endorsed by social conservatives, libertarian conservatives, moderates, independants, etc.

The list keeps growing.

Ever think that maybe you are the one that's wrong about Rudy?

Is it even possible?

Aren't you tired of these lame-o Republicans getting their d*icks knocked into the dirt then saying "sorry"?

I mean his whole statement about the surrender vote is impressive to me--do you just discount it?

Nope, I know of NO conservatives supporting Rudy. Why? Because he not a conservative. He is proud of his policy being a lot like Bill Clintons.

So for me, No to Rudy.

I agree...so far Rudy is the only GOP contender that has taken a strong stance on this.

Uh, all he did was make a statement, one with no indication of what he'd actually do.

Duncan Hunter VOTED against it in the house. McCain VOTED against it in the senate. So did Brownback. Even Ron Paul voted against it.

That is as strong a stance as you can take, actually putting your vote against on record.

Ted Olsen will be giving Rudy the list of judges to nominate, so I'm happy with that.

Name the last judge Ted Olsen nominated, or recommended for nomination.

There's no Democrat candidate who is "pro-gun", so WTF are you talking about?

If it comes down to two candidates who are pro-gun control for the election, do you really think that none of the Pro-Gun Democrat VOTERS will vote third party or stay home out of protest of the election?

Rudy is pro-choice. Big deal, it's all about judges. Ted Olsen will be giving Rudy the list of judges to nominate, so I'm happy with that.

Ted Olson better tell Rudy that the 2nd Amendment isn't about hunting then.

Rudy has always been against gay marriage so stop lying.

He says he's opposed to homosexual marriage. At the same time, he signs legislation approving of civil unions for homosexuals, lending them benefits for it. Am I supposed to trust his words or his actions?

Rudy's "problem" with illegal immgration is simply a pragmatic response to the complete lack of enforcement of immigration issues by the Feds in the '90's.

When Congress enacted immigration reform laws that forbade local governments from barring employees from cooperating with the INS, Mayor Rudy Giuliani filed suit against the feds in 1997. He was rebuffed by two lower courts, which ruled that the sanctuary order amounted to special treatment for illegal aliens and were nothing more than an unlawful effort to flaunt federal enforcement efforts against illegal aliens. In January 2000, the Supreme Court rejected his appeal, but Giuliani vowed to ignore the law.

For crying out loud, he allowed access to services such as public education to illegal aliens. His actions are unacceptable.

Most people simply don't care about this stuff. The media will use at as a lever to try to dislodge support for Rudy. Funny how this stuff is NEVER an issue for a rat candidate. Don't fall for this nonsense. Everyone has some type of personal problems.

As I said, I don't particularly care about his marital issues...not as a voting principle. That doesn't mean that aren't people who DON'T care. They'll look to it as a matter of character/integrity.

Rudy is the most fiscally conservative candidate out there, period.

Not saying he isn't. But that doesn't erase the fact that he spent QUITE a bit during his final years as mayor.

You clearly do NOT know Rudy. Rudy is the most UNIQUE candidate out there.

"Unique" as in the most liberal (with the exception of McCain) Republican candidate of the lot. I look at his record and make my decisions based on that. I look at his actions and make my decisions based on that. If his words contradict his actions, then I will tune out his words. Simple as that.

I don't see anyone that can take on the libs and beat them except for Rudy.

You haven't been paying attention to Duncan Hunter, have you?

There are conservative democrats.

I would vote for a conservative democrat or republican.

From ABC news interview:

Crawford: Would Rudy Giuliani nominate someone like Janice Rogers Brown—a staunch conservative, beloved by many on the Right and reviled by those on the Left?

Olson: “Yes,” he said. “I think he’d be impressed with her whole life story, her talent, her education–the way she pulled herself up from a very modest beginning, the inspiration her life would give to people—on top of her talent.”

Crawford: But would he be willing to wage the fight a Brown nomination would provoke?

Olson: “Absolutely,” Olson said. “Rudy has never walked away from a fight.”

Sounds good to me.

Sure I have. There's a lot to like. There's some things to dislike.

But he has done NOTHING to warrant consideration as President.

20+ year congressional back-benchers with no national prominence do not get elected President. I personally do not care for congressman or senators as president.

I want actual executive experience. The only ones to me that are viable are Romney and Rudy. And Romney can't win because he is a Republican Mormon.

“Absolutely,” Olson said. “Rudy has never walked away from a fight.”

It was too bad that Rudy lost a close election to Hillary Clinton in 2000, or he'd have been a great Senator.

Oh wait, he didn't lose that election? What happened to him? Oh, that's right, he walked away from the fight.

But Ted says he never does that.

Of the countless criticisms leveled at Giuliani day after day around here, this is in the running for the most unreasonable. Odd that it's coming from you, because you seem to be the most rational of the Rudy bashers. Pretty low to criticize a man for this, under the circumstances.

First of all, every candidate is pro-gun control to some extent. Unless you think that it's your right to go to your local Wal-Mart and buy a bazooka, you're for gun control too. And why should any Republican kiss the asses of people who claim to be Republicans if they're gonna bolt if they don't get 100% of everything they want?

Do you agree with Bush on EVERYTHING? Who did you vote for in 2004?

Ted Olson better tell Rudy that the 2nd Amendment isn't about hunting then.

Rudy knows what works in NYC doesn't necessarily work in Montana. This is not a scam to "grab yer guns" At the same time, he signs legislation approving of civil unions for homosexuals, lending them benefits for it. Am I supposed to trust his words or his actions?

The vast majority of Americans agree with this position. I have no problem with civil unions--it's none of my business!

For crying out loud, he allowed access to services such as public education to illegal aliens. His actions are unacceptable.

And you would've done...what? And HOW would you have done it?

Since it's going to be Rudy, Fred, or Mitt, are you NOT going to vote for the nominee?
