Those jackals in the press room, spewing their vile, venomous screed at Tony everyday no doubt contributed to his stress, and therefore, this recurrence.

I'll say this for Tony Snow: the guy handled the toughest questioning with class and seeming ease.

If he was stressed out, he rarely let it show.

I've thought for a long time that Tony is the epitome of what they used to call the happy warrior. He plays the game for keeps, but he gets up every day looking forward to it and does his work with malice toward none and with charity toward all. Bless him. Maybe some of his class has rubbed off on some of the jackals.
