Tony Snow is undoubtedly the coolest man to ever occupy the position of White House Secretary. His ability to maintain his composure while confronting the vile horde sitting in front of him truly amazes us.

Dana Perino seems very sad, trying to hold together emotionally.

I notice Perino made a remark about Tony returning to the WH podium. But I wonder if Tony will step down as press secretary. A new round of intensive chemotherapy means he would probably be gone for many months and would really need to avoid stress.

Dana conveyed Tony's remarks about the Dims loading up the defense bill with pork. She said he's hot on that topic. The press isn't interested in that now, they're asking about Tony's condition.

"Some cancers will show up in the blood and some don't. I have RCC, Renal Cell Carcinoma and it doesn't present in my blood at all. I have CT scans every 3 months..if they're clear I'm good to go, if anything shows up we deal with it then. Probably the same kind of routine that Tony's doing."

This is true. My step father had the same thing and has been cancer free now for about five years now. He still has regular tests, just not as often anymore as he did for the first three years after his surgery.

She said it that way very carefully several times. Not a single growth. She just confirmed it a third time.

She's saying his initial cancer was a Stage 3 but she doesn't know what stage this new cancer is yet.

The cancer removed was said by Tony to be about the size of the tip of his pinky finger.
