Once again, I reference the GOP platform. Rudy's views are more consistent with the Dem platform in many areas, such as gun control, abortion, gay rights, global warming, amnesty and sanctuary.

Believe it or not, this isn't a universally accepted standard for defining a political philosophy . . . many planks in the GOP platform are not politically conservative.
I'd more point to 'the contract with America'. THAT is a defining politically conservative document. It didn't say anything about gays, guns, abortion, etc. It was about 'conservative political issues' like lower taxes, local control, that kind of thing.
