The idea Hussein did not have stockpiles of WMD’s is not a creditable assumption. You have to believe that a fracturing, Oriental dictatorship of several competing and self-interested spheres of influence achieved an intelligence deception without parallel in the history of mankind against the sophisticated intelligence services of at least the U.S.A., Britain, France and Germany. Intelligence professionals simply don’t like to work together. In a management exercise requiring cooperation social workers would beat these people like a drum. You can be absolutely certain the four countries made four completely independent assessments using different methods and different human and material resources. As an example the Butler Commission still maintains Hussein’s people went to Niger to acquire yellow cake. All four of them were not wrong. The most reasonable assumption, like the one presented here and other for which much evidence exists, is that Syria and Russia received those stockpiles in trust for the regime.

The President does not seem to realize that one of the reasons he lost support is because he did not launch an truth campaign against the leftist propaganda media. Yesterday was the first time since he attacked the Islamic terrorists that he said something inspirational.
PS. I hope he fires all the rest of the 93 Clinton appointed prosecutors and puts in conservatives who will prosecute evil lawbreakers and not wink at their own. Fixing elections and charging innocent people with crimes they did not commit for political purposes is unacceptable. If one does the crime, one should have his day in court and not be allowed to go free, as Clinton and Janet Reno did when they murdered innocent people at Waco and Ruby Ridge.
