That's interesting about people with type A blood having trouble digesting red meat. I'll have to pass that on to my daughter, who always seems to have heartburn. She has Type A blood.

Also about being checked a decade earlier. I must get after my kids to do this. Only one son(age 48) has had a colonoscopy so far.

There is an excellent reference book on eating the best foods for your Blood Type. Ironically it is called Eat Right for/4 your Type. The most unhealthy Blood Type is "A" blood type, the Healthiest is "O". The Book is Authored by Dr. Peter J D'Adamo with Catherine Whitney. It has been out for several years and there are a few books that are newer but say the same things. did you ever wonder why you know entire Families that live on Tums, well gee, they are usually the same blood type. I did not know any of this 10 Years ago. It is very important to talk them into their first Colonoscopy, because although it takes many many years to develop, once you have the polyps your risk is heightened. Better to find the Polyps and then have them removed while they are doing the Colonoscopy while they are still benign. They do not remove them during Colonoscopy, if they suspect the Polyps are malignant. There is a very distinct dull gray color contrasted with the very pink color of the Healthy Colon. I hope this helps, it is a bloody shame that some people wait until it is too late.
