That is wonderful news from Tony. I remember he said that he had changed his diet necessarily for health reasons, and he does look a lot thinner, but did not look sick. As a 10 year survivor of Colon Cancer, I pay attention to all news about the matter. It always gives me a twinge still when I hear of these little growths, but Pet Scans are specifically used for Cancer detection, and since I have experience in that area, it gives me more confidence that this is the Conservative approach. Another wonderful thing is that he is employed by the Government and has excellent Health Insurance.

Hi, Samantha. Yes, things are much better today. Congratulations on your good health. My dad was diagnosed with colon cancer years ago and promised he would mend his ways. But, sadly, within months he was once again smoking his pipe and drinking his scotch. They were just too much a part of his life to give up. He eventually succumbed, but he went in his own way and that is how my dad always lived. In today's medical environment, we probably would have been able to keep him around for a long time.

samantha....I did not know you are a colon cancer survivor.
I am glad to hear that you are 10 years cancer free.
Thanks for sharing that with us.
