For anyone still reading this thread, I recommend ABADY brand dog food. Made for CANINES. Ingredients dogs need and can digest.
Ever notice how Coyote poop disintegrates in the woods in a week or so? That's because they digest their food because they are eating THEIR diet, not a man-made diet. But did you ever notice that dog poop will last for eternity and never disintegrate? It's due to all the fillers added to their food.
Commercial dog foods have different fillers to (1) make more food volume so the dog thinks it is getting full, (2) make a firm kibble so it's easier to feed and so dogs have something to crunch, (3) make a firm poop, since the dogs can't digest all the junk they put in the food, their poops are soft, so they add a filler to firm up the poop so we humans aren't as offended by a runny stool and so we can scoop the poop, etc.
If you take out all that junk, you have ABADY.
Feed about 1/2 to 2/3 as much as regular dog food (even "the good stuff"), it is more fully digested, which means less poop, and the poop disintegrates in a couple weeks (for those of us who have a little land and don't have to scoop, at least it disintegrates in a short period of time).
Oh, and double bonus: For people who's dogs have food allergies (you'll know because your dog's poop will always tend to be a little soft, and it will be VERY VERY stinky)... If you feed ABADY, their poop will firm up and it will HARDLY stink at all !!

I have feed my dog Raw Chicken Backs, bones and all for years and he loves it, plus it's cheaper than commercial Dog Food. Dog instinctivly don't like cereal grains thats why they spray fats on the dry food just to get them to eat it.ABADY sounds good. I know Miller foods in Conn. makes a whole meat product for dogs [no fillers or unknown meat products]I believe the winner of this years [Best in Show] Westminster show uses their product.
