Perhaps they don't want to be victims of cancer, but victors over cancer. Perhaps they see running as defiance in the face of adversity. I think it's courageous. They have all the power and money they could ever want, so maybe something else is at work here.

Perhaps they don't want to be victims of cancer, but victors over cancer. There are no victors over stage IV cancer. 50% mortality in 2 years. 90% mortality in 10 years. The primary goal for treatment of stage IV breast cancer is the relief of symptoms She's in for a rough time with death at the end and I feel sorry for her and anyone else in that position.

People like Edward NEVER have all the power and money that they want. He wouldn't be running for president if this were true.
