Odd to want to spend the remaining few years of your wife's life on the grueling campaign trail.

After telling of his wife's diagnosis, I thought he would announce that they were going to drop out of the Pres race and spend time together. It sounds as if they are not wanting to look at it as a death sentence, which is good, but I hope they don't miss out on some precious time together as a family.
He said that they had talked together extensively as to what to do now, so I guess they are fine with their decision. Don't know that it would have been mine.
God love her, I hope she does well for a long time to come.

If I'm him, my wife and I are going on a cruise or whatever she wants. Maybe even enjoy one of his huge mansions rather than drag her through an election or even worse, having to be First Lady and live in D.C.
