I really think its none of our business how they chose to spend this time. Some people believe that continuing with their lives is the best way to keep their minds focused on getting better.

I completely agree with you. She looked strong and said in the press conference that she feels good . As longs as she continues to feel fine and gets treatment, I see no reason to criticize their decision. She stated that if the doctor had told her not to go on the campaign trail, that Edwards would have dropped out.

I may not agree with Edwards, but I don't believe he would put his aspirations ahead of his family.

I know I'll be in the minority on this board, but I have no problem with their decision.

it has dawned on me that this may be what his wife wants...is for him to continue his run for presidency.

He can drop out later if need be.

"I really think its none of our business how they chose to spend this time."

If this is true, why did they make the televised announcement? Mr. Edwards obviously wanted the nation to know about their personal lives involving this decision.

Furthermore, when an individual decides to run for the most powerful political position in the world, people have a right to know what kind of a leader they may be electing. What kind of character the man is made of.
