I wear jeans and I have several jackets --- dress jackets and casual --- that I wear with my jeans.

Did June Cleaver do that, too? I know Donna Reed did it wearing a sheath dress I think they were clalled, and high heels. She only vacuumed the center of the rug though, or else she wouldn't look so perfect doing the corners and under the tables.
She also woke up every morning with all her make up on and her hair done.
I HATED HER.
Men actually believed that's the way a woman should look around the house.
