During his eight days as a part-time high school biology teacher, Kris Helphinstine included Biblical references in material he provided to students and gave a PowerPoint presentation that made links between evolution, Nazi Germany and Planned Parenthood.

That was enough for the Sisters School Board, which fired the teacher Monday night for deviating from the curriculum on the theory of evolution.

This is why Catholics have our own schools, we can teach what the parents want without interference from big brother and the atheistic liberals. We teach the virgin birth, God created the heaven and the earth, Jesus rose from the dead, some teach that life changes over time or evolves according to an obvious instruction code.

No big brother and aclu to send out hit squad to force Catholic school parents to give into the will of the leftist elite. Even if we are wrong, we have that right.

Anyone who favors parents rights being trumped by the force of government is hardly a friend of liberty.

This teacher should find a private school, but the fact is obvious that there should no such thing as a public school system. (its like flushing money down a toilet in comparison to a private school)

The end of public school would eliminate so much trouble and eliminate the abuse of the system to promote political viewpoints.
